Patrick Park and Nathalie Fernandez hosted a beautiful Cocktail Reception, attended by more than 150 people, at The Mar-a-Lago Club on Saturday evening, December 19, 2009, to “Kick-Off” the 2010 American Cancer Society Ball in Palm Beach.
From a surprise appearance by Santa and his elves, to Brazilian flamenco dancers, to the incredible display of fine automobiles from Corporate Benefactor Braman Motorcars to Mr. Park’s signature Mariachi band, the evening was a festive celebration in support of the fight against cancer.
The exclusive reception was held in honor of the Gala’s Honorary Chairwoman and Chairman Emeritus, Dame Celia Lipton Farris and Chairwoman Patty Myura. Ralph Lauren graciously donated beautiful holiday candles as favors for the guests as they left the magnificent evening.
The cocktail reception set the stage for Friday, February 5, 2010 when the 52nd Annual American Cancer Society Ball, “Dancing Under the Stars” will come to life at the elegant Mar-a-Lago Club. Funds raised by the gala support critical cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services.
