"Scouting: It Works for our Youth!

For Scouting to continue to grow and respond to the needs of our society, we must share our story with you.  Working together to organize and support new Scouting units will benefit ALL of us.

Scouting's great character-building program can be delivered to the youth through relationships with other organizations: churches, schools, service clubs and businesses.  We all want the youth of our neighborhoods to be20good citizens with strong values and character.  We can work together to give our youth and families the opportunity to benefit from the leadership of Scouting.

Nothing is more important than teaching values to our youth during their formative years - values that will guide them for the rest of their lives.

The recent nationwide Harris study The Values of Men and Boys in America told us of the declining values in America today.  It also told us that youth who are in Scouting are more likely than others to graduate from high school and much more likely to graduate from college.

The vast majority of men agree that Scouting helped build their character.  Scouting must fill the void that America has in developing our youth.

The only way we can provide the greater benefits of Scouting to more youth is to organize additional units and maintain our current units at full strength.  America needs it, families need it, our youth want it.  HELP US give our youth the opportunity to be in Scouting!

THROUGH YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS, WE CAN GIVE OUR YOUTH THE TOOLS AND EXPERIENCES TO BRING ABOUT THIS FUTURE!
