About Take Stock in Children of Palm Beach County
Take Stock in Children of Palm Beach County (TSIC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide full Florida pre-paid scholarships to foster long term success in children from low-income families.
By contract with TSIC, each student promises to remain crime and drug free, graduate from high school, and become positive, impactful, productive citizens. Upon program completion, a scholarship is awarded.
All program costs and scholarships are paid for in partnership with state government, businesses, school systems, social service agencies, civic and religious organizations, as well as private citizens.
TSIC currently supports over 200 children annually and consistently graduates nearly 90% of its student population.
Statewide, TSIC has served over 16,000 children in 67 counties, provided over $109 million in scholarships, and more than 7,500 mentors volunteered over 1,000,000 hours.
