Easter Seals’ Jelly Bean Ball committee members have been scooping up some exciting plans for the inaugural event. Set for February 21st at The Mar-a-Lago Club, the fun, colorful gala benefit will be sprinkled with some exciting entertainment, dinner and dancing.
A special performance of international artist Michael Israel’s “Art in Concert” show will highlight the evening. Guests will be entertained by his high-energy performance creating special pieces of art to the rhythm of music and auctioned to the highest bidders. The crowd is sure to be on their feet dancing into the night from the music of the Marcia Mitchell Band.
“Guests are in for a real treat at the Jelly Bean Ball,” said Rhonda Clinton, executive director for Easter Seals Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties. “Simon Fireman and his wonderful committee have been working hard on the details, complete with a visit to Sloan’s in West Palm Beach for inspiration.”
Along with Mr. and Mrs. Fireman, committee members for the Jelly Bean Ball include: Edgar Burroughs, Barbara Gilbert, Suzi Goldsmith, Michele Jacobs, Susan Kah, Barbara Katz, Cynthia Maronet, Carolyn Mathis, Faith Morford, Judith Morrell, Susan Reymond, Rick Rhodes, Sally Robinson, Debra Tornaben, Sylvia Wolf and Gail Worth.
Sponsors to date for the event are Mr. and Mrs. Simon C. Fireman, Newsmax Media, Inc., Sylvia Wolf, Rhoda & David Chase, Florence & Lawrence DeGeorge, The Philanthropic Society, Sally & Dick Robinson, ETC (Environmental Technology Control), Fraternal Order Of Police, Suzy Minkoff and The Sexauer Foundation.
A cocktail reception honoring the Jelly Bean Ball committee is planned for January 30th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Simon C. Fireman. The evening will feature the Exclusive Art of the Faberge Family with an exhibition and sale of works by Sarah and the late Theo Fabergé.
